Merriam Ibrahim was freed, and then just as she was leaving the country, she and her family were re-arrested, this time by Sudan’s secret police. They were once again released and have taken shelter in the U.S. Embassy. But, they are currently not being allowed to leave Sudan, and new charges may be filed against them ( Read more... )
